glories of spring

taken in my backyard

not to make any of you 'out-of-staters' jealous or anything! but, spring has sprung in california....and it is beautiful...at this time of year, maybe until the end of april we have the most beautiful green, green mountains just outside my door...it's amazing what a little or alot (in this years case) of rain will do for the hills...they are so gorgeous and green, the sky has been sooooo blue and the temperature is just about perfect....so, you'll have to enjoy through my pictures...and just know that i wish you were here...

  5. Yes! Hasn't this week been beautiful! Thanks for the reminder on "green" -- I need to enjoy it and take note, since indeed, most of the year it is brown.

  6. Thanks for spring from your point of view. I have been taking all kinds of moments just to stop and view the blooms and green around. Everything looks grand in the sunlight of spring. Your flowers out your front door are spectacular!

  7. tarantula hill was the hill that a witch lived on when i was in elementary school, then it was the hill that was actually infested with tarantulas when i was in middle school, and in highschool it was a landmark to look for when coming home from work on the 101. now when i look at pictures of it, i'm flooded with so many memories of the beautiful scenery of southern california. thanks for putting these up!!
