christmas

christmas was very different this year...maybe this is how it will be from now on....we'll wait and see...it turned out better than i expected...so that was good.....starting off first with thanksgiving....it was smaller but fun....i had kelly and her kids...russell, kristen and baby russ....
it was a gorgeous hot day...we started off at the turkey trot at clu....the kids ran...i watched!
they swam later on.....

the mcnally's....and adam and ashley pollock and their boys...we had a delicious dinner....it was a very nice time....

christmas jammie came for thanksgiving!

had a fun time the next day with the family...hung out...we made ugly christmas tee shirts!  pretty relaxed....
the first saturday in december, russ graduated from pepperdine with his MBA...i'm so proud of him...he worked hard to get this degree...besides school, he's married, had a baby, worked, been the elder's quorum president...he has been one busy boy!!! yay Russ!!!

monday, christmas kicked in!  had to get the decorating done...a week later and it was!!! it is always so pretty...i love it....

christmas shopping that was mostly done online, with just a few trips to the mall....love that!!!

the weekend before christmas, we celebrated with kelly and her kids...we had our regular christmas eve, with santa...

 we played a few games that night.....christmas morning...the kids were fun and so excited..they got silly string which was a hit.....then we returned the bikes...got the right sizes....

went to the movies...

then, kelly, kids and i went to the grove shopping mall....she had a reservation to the american girl doll store to eat with charlie in the restaurant....she was sooooo excited!!

i walked around with the boys...at the christmas tree they had a snow machine and we had a 10 minute snow storm!! that was really fun....i unfortunately jammed my knee walking...so, that's caused some problems....

the next week, we had our regular christmas eve with russ, kristen and baby russ, the pollock family, the mcnally family and the merls....it was very fun...weird, because the kids were all 2 and younger...but, fun....

christmas morning, russ and Kristen came over about 9:30....we had a nice christmas morning...they left after breakfast

  ....i collapsed until about 4 when i got dressed and went to the pollocks for dinner...that was great...then we went to see 'into the woods'....it turned out really nice...
the next day, i went into massive take down mode.....had to undecorated in one day....it was so much work....russ came over and helped...it got done though...

i packed and on saturday took off for madrid to see kerry, austin and cedar!!!!
