the happy campers


kerry came home today...that was nice...a little noise in the house again...for all of you that have many many noisy children...enjoy it, because all to soon they go away.....she's been at outdoor school for the week...the schools here take the 6th graders to a camp, they have jr and srs. be the counselors and have others that work there all the time...i think she'll be happier about it as time goes on...some of her comments were...there were rats in the cabins.....she and her friend shannon slept on a couch all week, because the rats lived by their beds...there wasn't any hot water for the first 3 days...it was funny to hear them saying how they had to yell at the girls to clean up, to take showers, to stop talking etc. etc...sounds pretty familiar...they were amazed at how advanced the little 6th graders were...to grown up for their age...on the other hand their friend nick had the best time ever...he said they teased the boys...played games etc..etc....more the boy thing i guess...they did have fun on the hike to the beach and they would hang out after the kids went to bed...i'm glad she's home...and better yet...she's thrilled that she's home....
